Stress Relief Tip: Exercise

Exercise relieves stress in several ways.

Exercise increases the serotonin.
Cardiovascular work outs stimulate brain chemicals that help foster growth of nerve cells.
Raised heart rate releases endorphins…which brings upon euphoria, helps control the brain’s response to anxiety and/or stress and helps reduce pain.

A walk in the park, a work out in the gym, exercise or yoga at home…whatever you’re comfortable with and enjoy…will help you handle stressful situations better and make you feel better physically too.
