See the positive

How we perceive a situation and how we react to it is the basis of our stress. If you focus on the negative in any situation, you can expect high stress levels. However, if you try and see the good in the situation, your stress levels will greatly diminish. ~ Catherine Pulsifer

Yes, I know it’s difficult to stay focused on the positive when there’s so much negative around. It’s a conscious effort that you have to make, and on a daily basis..for some, an hourly basis.
Most people are surrounded by situations that can seem worrisome, stressful, draining but you can stay away from some of these by delegating tasks that you don’t necessarily have to do yourself.

Another way to help remain positive is simply changing the way you see circumstances. Don’t let a negative thought build up. You have approximately 17 seconds before that thought creates another negative and so forth and so forth. As soon as you look at a situation in a negative light, change your thought (even if you have to speak out loud) and make it positive. Turn it around so you’re only seeing the positive in the situation and within time it’ll become habit and you’ll experience joy and happiness rather than worry and stress.
